  1. x. yes if they played with as much passion as the last game. x

  2. They've got a good chance but South Africa are favorites to win. I'm supporting South Africa to win

  3. I hope not!

Kudos to them for winning the Wallabies but really, it was all Jonny Wilkinson. i mean they didn't even score a try! They did not play with the passion we saw the French and even the Fijians.

  4. Nope i wouldnt say so.

South Africa or Argentina I would say.

  5. as an Englishman living in a rugby-mad French village, I do hope England beat France.  After that it doesn't matter.

  6. Any of the top four have a chance to win the World cup, otherwise they would not be in the top four.  I still feel that  the Boks and France will be in the final though and not England, so no I dont think england will win the cup.

  7. France gonna win because 'les Bleus' beat  'the Blacks'

the french team must win in order to honour the All Blacks !

and believe me my friend, they gonna made it !

    @loha.

  8. I think at this stage of the competition form goes out of the window and its all about who rises to the occassion and has the mental edge.

England remain in a no-lose position - despite beating the Aussies, they are still the underdogs. But they have improved since the opening games and have experience on their side, and the draw has opened up for them giving them hope.I would not have fancied them to beat the ABs, but having seen the French go through they will bizarrely be feeling more confident of their chances. Englands one-dimensional style remains their greatest weakness and their greatest strength.

The French effort depends on whether they turn up against England or not. If England can frustrate them and the crowd gets on their back, the could easily implode. They could just as easily blow England away. Laporte's selection could also be crucial. He got it spot on against NZ, but is not always consistent. France also have a habit of following an excellent performance with a poor one - a habit which England will no doubt strive to make them aware of - and maybe this will play on their minds.

South Africa are the favourites, but since demolishing England and Samoa have not looked the finished article. Steyn was not good against Fiji, and will be targeted by the experienced Puma midfield. They will not dominate they Argentine forwards, and it will be interesting to see how they change their game to adapt to that. Against Fiji you felt they looked past that match - if they do the same again on Sunday, they will be beaten. If they do beat Argentina, they will either face their bogey team in France, or a vastly different England side. They should be good enough to win the competition, but if their weaknesses are exposed they, like their Tri-Nations counterparts, could choke under the pressure. A lot rides on the boot of Percy Montgomery - Argentina have already spent alot of time targeting opposition full backs with the high ball, and if they can get under his skin it can affect his place kicking. Sunday will be the most important game of his career.

Argentina remind me of the '95 boks - the unity and team spirit they have shown throughout has been incredible, and like the '95 boks they have spoken throughout of how they feel it is their destiny to win this World Cup. In Hernandez they have the form player of the tournament, with experience throughout the midfield. Their kicking game could work against the Boks if they can force Habana and Pietersen into fielding kicks. While their players have all been in massive matches in European competition, it is still debatable whether the national team has the necessary experience at this level, having never featured in a semi final before, but their matches against France and Ireland have proven that they can perform in the big games.

I would fancy the winner of SA v Arg to go on to win the competition, perhaps for France or England it would just be one big game too far.

  13. DIE BOKKE!!!!!! If England win I think I will boycott rugby for the next four years. Honestly, they play the most BORING game. No I don't think they will win, I think they will loose 2 Frogs in semis.

  14. i hope not there the biggest most arrogant kn*bs in the whole world

  15. The'll go out in semi's and France will win.

  21. I hope so but smart money 's on south africa
