Do you think Fedor or Anderson Silva could win K-1 grand prix if they decided to focus on that sport?

Seems to that both Fedor and Anderson could have been K-1 champs or still could be if they focused on it. The money is better in MMA so they won't but do you think they could?

  1. he he is this a joke?

  2. Fedor would have a great chance in k1. I am surprised to many of you think he would'nt.

Semmy schilt is is the first 3 time in a row champion in k1(and is still current super heavyweight champ).

If you didn't know Fedor beat schilt in an unanimous decision.(mma match) He was able to avoid schlit's amazing kickboxing skills with not so much trouble.

Other fighters that Fedor has beat that fight or has fought in k1 are mirko cro cop, hong man choi, mark hunt, gary goodridge. All have had decent success.

Yes the rules are differen't but I still belive fedor would fair very well in k1 escpially since he has proven to beat a 3 time champion in pride. Fedor has knockout power in both of his hands so he would fair well with the 3 knockdown rule.

He is also a master at defence and rarely ever gets rocked good in the face.

I'm not sure about Anderson Silva but I think he does have amazing power in his legs. The only thing is he couldn't use elbows and he loves using them.

  3. no, they can't win top-tier strikers at their own game.

  4. Possibly Anderson, but not Fedor. All he has going for him is explosiveness. He'll be outclassed in skill against K1 fighters.

As for Anderson, it's possible. But at the same time, I've heard that he's only beaten nobodies in Muay Thai. So yeah, I wouldn't bet my money on either, but Anderson has a much better chance.
