Do you think Feyerabends interpretation can be applied to accounting theory and research?How?

I think that Feyerabend's interpretation on the scientific process of research can be extended to accounting theory.  I think that, in practice, the application of his theories would be a tough sell for publishers of acedemic articles.  In my mind, I believe that the "how" part of your question can be answered in different degrees.  If a researcher went out and did research without regard to previous research and accepted theories then they would be applying Feyerabend's theory which is basically chaotic searching and compiling.  Feyerabend seems to mask himself from defending this type of work by also stating in his theory that any critique of a scientific method is ultimately impinging on knowledge.

Interesting question, I am not a Feyerabend expert so my answer is pretty shallow - but, nonetheless, it is the thought that I have on something I know little about.
