  1. Well i guess You mean Force India...well i think it could...well until Vijay Mallya gets bored of racing his VJM01,VJM02and so on...or until he doesnt get enought sponsors(that may not be the case cause talking about main sponsors Kingfisher.., wellhe is the king of that brand...) and i think there are other corporates in india who are more than intrested in f-1...like tata's...speed(from bharat petrolium)...and many son atleast they have a life of 6-7 years or more(struggling) and if they are not struggling then you cant say when they are stopping(i meant to say no one can stop them...!! hehe!!!)

  2. It depends if it reaches its marketing goals in India or not. If the "franchise" is a commercial success then I don't think running about at the back of the field will be a barrier to continuing in the sport. They pretty much need to change absolutely everything from the top down, and that will take a long time, or a lot of money, or both. As long as the team is making money and promoting the Kingfisher brand well away from the track, then they will stay.

  3. It really depends whether they are serious or not. If it's just about marketing and brand awareness, then no. If they are serious about racing as well, I'd say they will be in it for the long run. Vijay Mallya hopes that the team will be a representative of India in F1. He's already looking for Indian drivers to drive teh cars so that shows his seriousness.

However, India is still growing as a motorsports country. There may not be many drivers good enough to make it to F1. This may take years and Mr Mallya will have to be very patient.

  4. Yes. Farce India sucks.

  5. It would be nice to see a bit of stability for the Jordan/ Midland/ Spyker now Force India guys. I think they are doing well, the gap to pole at Silverstone was under 2 seconds, if you go back to the mid 1990s a gap like that could of got a team into the top 10.

as Rosbif says, if there is continued improvement, then V J Malaya's money will stay, as long as Fisichella doesn't keep wrecking cars in practise sessions....

  6. to add too rosbifs answer, with close to, if not more than a billion people in India the sponsor only need to reach 1% of the country too makes gobs of money, as ive said in many previous answers the first goal of racing in a corperations mind is to improve or expand sales in the private sector, national pride, and a lack of local compition should insure force indias participation
