Sure could!

They have an absolutely fantastic group of players, any team would just die to have their talent.

If they can stay injury free (touch wood) there is no reason why they can't do it again!

They will self destruct. They have too many players with big egos now. Imagine what they will be like by the beginning of next season!

They'll be too busy strutting around admiring themselves to play good football next season.

The side has a lot going for it, as does the coaching staff - especially the unsung (so far) hero of the 2007 flag, Neil Balme. I don't see why they can't.

id say geelong have the list to create a brisbane like dynasty,but only if they keep the playing group together which would mean some players taking pay cuts at some stage and the side staying relatively injury free like this year

Well for 43 years I always be-moaned ... "there's always next year".

Looking at the age and the probable peaks of players.  The fact they have a young ruckman (I hope they can keep him).  They're built on defence (that's a really good sign) and they won the AFL (EDIT - oops I meant VFL but they won the AFL as well!), I couldn't be more confident.

But really 44 years on, I just wanted us to win one!  (I'm glad it was a white-wash, I don't think I could have stayed standing if it was like the prelim.  After that let's have a close one next year!)

They are trying hard to keep the playing group together. If they can then they are a good chance.

I'm putting money on them now.

They are a force to be reckoned with and will still have the same team next year.

I'm 100% sure they will be back to back Premiers.

It is a great idea, but I am too superstitious to beg for back to back. I am happy Geelong got one. We can worry about two on GF day 2008 if the Cats are in it. Until then, back to back talk is bad luck. Hush, be quiet for now.

As long as they keep as much as they can from this year. They cant lose to much from the draft or trade week.

I think they will go a long way but I dont know if they can go all the way again next year.

But thats what they said about the Lions so who knows. Will we see the cats in there for 3 more years?

Absolutely they can...they were a cut above the rest this year. All clubs will have to have a huge pre-season and all coaches a long hard think about how to play against them next year. Bomber Thompson did an awesome job with his current group of players...their running game and their skills were just incredible. I think all clubs will have to have a good look at the way they play the game and try to take something away from that. Geelong were deserving winners this year!

I hope not. And I think they probably wont be as good as in season 07. By AFL season 08 nearly all of the clubs will have a fresh list and teams like Collingwood, Port Adelaide, West Coast and Carlton will fight back.

Definately, if they can keep a majority of the playing group, they can win another Premiership.
