Do you think Gina Carano's next fight will be against Shayna Baszler? If so who do you think will win?

The next person I see Gina fighting is Tara for sure.

She has called her out on several occasions.

its an interesting question and for the record i know just enough about baszler to answer.

the problem with beating carano in the elite xc show goes much deeper than beating a good fighter, which carano is for sure.

here are a few facts to consider.

1.  carano came in nowhere near the contracted weight for her last fight.  she was officially listed as four pounds overweight but i suspect it was much more, she looked huge compared to her opponent.  clearly, making weight only applies to her opponent.

2.  carano won her last fight via tko.  the fight was stopped in between the second and third rounds.  her opponent begged to be allowed to continue, the doctor said she was able to continue, but the shows promoter (gary shaw) ordered the fight stopped anyway.

i think gina was going to win anyway, but it was clear the promoter was taking no chances whatsoever.



3.  along with kimbo slice, the elite xc promotion is heavily centered around gina, her fighting skill and her good looks.

they arent going to bring anyone in right now that they think can beat gina.

im not saying shayna couldnt beat her, she has won four or five fights in a row if im not mistaken, but the odds would be stacked against her if that matchup was made.

chances are its gonna take someone like tara larosa, kelly kobold or amanda buckner to to knock gina off right now and you can bet gina wont fight any of them for a while.
