                       Yes, I thonk it will, and it will be the US of America that will cause it to occur, because of their great appetite and demand for the Worlds supply of Oil. This from a Country that still Kills its own prisoners, and still they insist on telling all the world that they are the Globes, Greatest Civilisation, no matter where we live on this planet, it is always the 'greatest' that insist on telling us, even at the point of Guns, that they are the greatest.

                      Well, if that is so, why art so many of the American communities so undercared for , the elderly, the hungry, and the prisons populations. where now is the great " come to Momma" practice codes. I blame Modern American political policies for a whole lot of our Global problems, Yes, even down to the use and misuse of this planets mineral supplies.

                      So, Come on every body in the world, let's give America all the worlds oil, so we don't get bombed. and THEN we can all cool down, and walk everywhere instead of Driving, and heating up an already explosive situation, started by man's greed, for MORE, and MORE, and MORE.

                      To quote a Famous American, Henry Ford " History is Bunk" if not yet, Believe in what he said, It's going to be! I live in England and pay £1 per litre for my Petrol/ Gasolene, and it's not ever going to be cheaper than that, and just like America, most of my £1 for that litre goes to the British tax-man, to buy anything but a good life for this Country, Governments all over the planet are GREAT at wasting money. Trust Leaders of states  in this world to lie to their Countries electorates, but at least we are free to vote them in, just as we are fee to vote them OUT. and, I AM NOT EVEN ANGRY, just a catholic man saying he doesn't want to die in a world war.., I hope you feel better for my answer, but it is just this mans point of view and the best answer I can give to you Leon for your question...Regards to you Sir..     In case anyone is interested world oil production is expected to start decreasing around 2020 (12 years from now) due to the fact that the oil reserves will be dwindling at that point.

    If we don't have any viable alternatives by that time we will all be in deep sh*t.

         The 'West' is desparately trying to keep it protracted.

    The followers of Shariah Law (Islamic Fundamentalism) are doing their Shahid best to get it Global......

          'Global Warming'(nice little political catchphrase) something we can blame every nusance and catastrophe on , instead of the oft' saddled yet sublimely ubiquitous "They".

           Seems our modest planet still wishes to remain linearly dynamic in her own parameters,in spite of P.C.s' enviro-sky-is-falling-ism...... . Yet , shall not allow herself to be any ones' wall-flower. This Lady knows how to dance!!

         The 'Band' plays hard tunes and Ma Earth can swing.

    She's got an orbital duo with the Sun , that requires some wobbling and swaying and a few other moves that we , the inhabitants , profoundly disapprove of. As if that would change things to any global degree.... .

         Sure , pollution can only exacerbate the situation...... .

    However , it is far from being the cause .

         Now, donot read I wrong. I am a conservationist,outdoorsman,woodsman and qualified forest fire-fighter. The latter three.....uh-h,when I was....young...healthy...... . This tree grows old as well.

        All matter is under the influence of dynamic energies. Nothing is static. Not Man,beast,plant or mineral.

        If the inhabitants of Earth desire war.....then there shall be war. Humanity has never been short on reasons for it.

        'Earth Warming'? Sure.... . Why not?  That'll do good enough as any.

         Global warming has been moving along just fine since the end of the last ice age.

          These events occur on a very large and expanding time-frame. They,such as the present global climate change,are solar systemic/galactic in nature. And there is not much we can do to stop it. What if it were the other way around?

    We would hear the exact same song.

         Back in the late Seventies,Scientists were coming to a consensus that Earth was about to enter an Ice Age!! How politics do change things..... .

         And after I survived the "Blizzard of '77"in Buff'lo,NY.

         So why do nations blame the USofA? We're the only nation that utilizes catylitic converters on gasoline fueled autos..... . Most if not all States require coal burning power plants to use 'scrubbers' in their smoke stacks. Asamattauhfact America pre't much started the large-scale enviro-fix action in industries and manufacturing.....'ats why most everything you buy today is "Made in China".

         Seems they donot have to comply with enviro-fix.....costs too much.....same with other "developing nations"....Kyoto doesn't apply to them. Near Slave-Labor does...saves the enviro.....(who needs machines when y'ih gots slaves),hmmm sounds historically a bit familiar, and yes, creates huge profits and enviro-rhetoric...

  16. i don't really think its anything to fight about. i mean yeah its a pressing issue but its not like everyone killing eachother will make it any better. and i don't think any politician is stupid enoguh to think that killing people will repair the hole in the ozone layer. if anything the toxins will make it worse.

    actually it could be quite the opposite. MAYBE in an effort to stop the global warming the entire planet will come together to make choices to repair the environment and the ozone layer

    but we should prob work on the others issues as to why we're fighting first.

  17. No, nature doesn't create wars. Unless of course we are talking about human nature. People and their ignorance is what causes wars. Never try and blame mother the natural course of the Earth, it doesn't know any better. It's just dealing with what's been given to it.

The utter ignorance of some like Byderule and Mike something is astonishing.  Governments don't have friends, they have interests.  Wars will not be fought for global warming.  Why would anyone go to war since most of the effects of warming is beneficial.  Who would go to war and why.  The third world war might be caused by something like Iran nuking Israel.  Byderule implies we nuked Syria.  What happened is Israel made a strike on a North Korean nuclear facility in Syria. The garbage that some of these alarmist swallow and regurgitate is beyond assinine.

    It has already started ,its called the New World order.

    And America triggered it when they dropped a small tactical nuclear bomb on Syria on September 6th of last year.

    A J P Taylor, the famous English historian once said that, whatever the propaganda, all wars are about the control or access to natural resources. So as the population increases, the competition for natural resources will increase, breaking out into small wars around the world which  will eventually engulf the whole world

  23. It could see more regional conflicts over resources such as water, and if areas of major population suffer drought then that could provoke mass migration that could also cause conflict. Droughts and floods would cause major strains on the social cohesion of individual countries.

    I doubt we'd see a major conflict on the scale of WW1 or WW2 because of GW. If we do it'll be for different geopolitical reasons.
