the only thing missing now is the thought police?

Why are labour so obssesed with watching what we all get upto, all done in the name of protecting us from terrorist attacks? yet these powers are used to watch how much rubbish we put in our wheelie bins , councils snooping on were parents say they live for the purpose sending thier kids to a diffrent school and very soon they will be watching you were you drive your car to and then they will calculate the distance by the time it takes you to get from a to b and then you will get a speeding ticket if the speed limit is broken at any point.

  1. I hope you're wrong. I really do. Perhaps he doesn't fully understand what he is doing..just perhaps...

  2. No - actually he prefers the biographies of really obscure politicians.

  3. Animal Farm.

...Snout in the trough and all that.

  4. No I don't think it was Gordons favourite, but I am convinced it was Tony's fave read. Did you know that George Orwell changed his name. His real name was BLAIR, scary isn't it.

I have this inkling that new labour have been putting these ideas from 1984 into practice, all the while laughing at the stupidity of us lowly proles who failed to realise.

  5. I thought George Orwell's 1984 was the Labour Party handbook !
