Do you think Gustav will go to Alabama?

Does anyone think Gustav is going to go in at the Alabama/Mississippi line?

It is definetely possible.  It is almost 100 % sure that Gustav will make landfall somewhere on the gulf coast.  Right now New Orleans is in the bulls eye, but Alabama is in the cone of uncertainty.  Anybody from Houston to Panama City should monitor the progress of Gustav.  There is a high pressure system that is going to direct Gustav, but the speed of Gustav is everything to determine how soon it will start to curve.

The National Huricane Center is predicting New Orleans to get whacked again as of this hour..

I believe it'll hit us in Louisiana :( but you guys will probably feel some effects at least.

Hard to say this far out.  Current projections put the center of Gustav west of that area.  I think it is safe to say that that area will see some effect from Gustav, at the least.
