I would love to have it in Nov 08 but I think more people will go and see it during the summer and it'll earn more money with all the teens out on summer break.

Its all about $$$! They saw what Dark Night did and now they want to be 09's Dark Night. All there doing is pissing people off. Hopefully a copy of the movie gets leaked!

well, they said that the film had to be pushed back because of the writers strike last year (this year? i forget), and there was a hole in the schedules for summer '09. i would have preferred it in nov. this year but if it means that next summer wont be completely devoid of good movies to watch then im willing to wait. there are plenty of good movies coming out this year as it is, i dont mind one getting pushed back to next year
