Do you think Hawthorn getting so far is just luck? (AFL)?

Question

I want to gather opinions on whether you think that Hawthorn are going to struggle in finals after their loss to Richmond, or whether you think they stand the biggest chance of rivalling Geelong to the grand final?

Any feedback is welcome.

It is not luck if your team has a heap of great players and you are second on the ladder. Hawks have been the second best team all year and have the 2nd best chance of winning the grand final.

No I think they are a very good team with lots of great players e.g Buddy, Hodge, Mitchell, Crawford, Lewis, Rioli, Williams etc etc. I think they just had an off week against Richmond , maybe their minds are on the first final they will play against the Bulldogs. I think it will be a Hawthorn/ Geelong G.F and it will be a close game , if Buddy gets straight Hawthorn could easily win.

I think they've been lucky to get so far, given the number of games which were 'iffy' early in the season, but the Hawks are a confidence side. When they've got it, they're on a role, but when they lose one game I start to worry!

Against Richmond, they didn't do well. But Geelong and the Hawks play well against each other, old rivalry stuff. They lift to play the other. I think a grand final between the two would be a great game.

It is not luck they are a good team.but i think the will struggle in the finals and geelong will play the bulldogs in the GF
