  1. Her speech was amazing and really hit home with me.  I'm a married mother of two, I'm also helping my husband pay child support for the coolest, smartest, sweetest little boy in the world...and we are very low income...we are considered poverty level.  She believes in her country...ALL of it, not just the rich who keep on getting rich, but also the poor and middle class...much of what this country is founded on!

The rich corporations with their "bob and weave tactics" (when it comes to paying taxes of any sort) often forget that someone had to start at the bottom and make it what it was...and i have to say that when I hear of low income...it makes me think of hard work.  working at fast food places, hotels doing laundry and housekeeping, washing cars, mowing lawns and taking money at a cash register while maintaining a clean and theft free environment is some of the hardest work that anyone could have to face each day. (I speak from personal experience)  And I think Hillary understands this and that's why she fights for those of us who do these jobs and work the long hours doing something we hate when all we want to do is be with our kids...helping them with their homework, reading to them, and helping them get dressed for bed...and alot of the low paying jobs don't offer flexible hours to do that.

In general, Republicans often are disgruntled and have disdain for those on welfare...but if poverty stricken people were to die-out from this Darwinian way of life in America because they had no health care, food, or other basic neccessities, who will do the jobs that the rich could never see themselves doing?

And there are circumstances in life that do not permit college...whether it be daycare, caring for elderly family members, keeping a job to pay bills, ect...so doing the hard work to be successful is not the question...it's being able to create or find the oppurtunities to make those remarkable and comendable accomplishments.

Hillary speaks for those who, in this capitalist country, have no voice because they dump waste baskets for a living.  Most people don't really give two craps about what a janitor has to say about politics or their beliefs.  But, with this speech...she has proven for millionth time, that she has listened and will fight to keep on speaking for those who are ignored and drowned out by the voices that keep telling the poor and middle class "oh, well...you don't count and I shouldn't have to help you"

My heart and support go out to Hillary for her grace and immeasurable compasion, and also Barack...who has the vision and determination to make this country a home once again.

  2. It was a great speech n says much about her.  She is not a *****!  Th women actually won th VP bid.  Biden couldnt get in th runnin. She took it in th gut n turned th other cheek.  She supported th party, th candidate, th nation.  Sh put herself aside for us all.  It appears many people were wrong about her.

  3. She is a democrat - they can talk the talk but they cannot walk the walk.  Sorry!

  4. ,,,, ooooooh yeah !! .. she was great !! .. she's the one who hit a home-run tonight !!

  5. Yes, I thought it was a good speech, but I don't agree that it will convince people to vote for Obama.  She said the right things about unifying the party and preventing another Republican win, but she didn't say one word about Obama or how great a president he would be, or any complimentary statement whatsoever.  The speech was about fulfilling her life's work, her accomplishments, and what she wants to see happen by implementing her plans and proposals.

Her supporters may or may not vote for Obama.  There is such bad blood between the two camps, and she appeared so much more "presidential" than Obama ever could.

I think she believes she still has a chance.  If during the roll call, the delegates see that she is much more electable than Obama, they may switch at the last minute and make her the nominee.

Also, if something devastating comes out about Obama before the election and he withdraws his candidacy, she's in, and she may know something that's going on behind the scene to accomplish it.  She said 'keep on going, keep on going, never give up' and I think she was signaling her supporters that it isn't over till it's over.

  6. Great no but it was much better than the speech that was given last night.

  7. The speech was very good, it was mostly about her and her accomplishments in the narcissistic Clinton's fashion. She exhorted her supporters to vote for him and unite, but there was no praise for Obama, nor she said that he would be a great President.( I am not voting for Obama)

  8. It was not just good, it was extraordinary. And she was most gracious.

We have always known how intelligent and knowledgeable she is.

The Democratic Party messed her up with some of their earlier rulings.

She is young enough to get where she should be.

Obama is so lucky to have her in his corner.

    Ingrid

  9. I thought she was sensational. She really carried it off. Unfortunately she really is the best choice for president, but the DEMs have to dance with the one they "brung".
