Do you think I'm spoiled

I'm 14 and I'm getting my own MacBook soon but it's used and it's not like my parents are just handing it to me. I have to work for it. They're gonna give it to me but if I start slacking they'll take it away which is fine but my friends are calling me a spoiled a brat

No. You are NOT spoiled. Don't you listen to them, you have to work for what you want, which I find honorable. My mom and dad spoil me quite a bit, picking me up energy drinks and snacks, buying me things whenever I ask them to. But the difference between me being a spoiled person, and me just being spoiled by my parents, is that I very rarely get those things unless I beg quite a bit and bring out the waterworks.

On a lighter note, I'm 14 too.

It depends what you mean by "work for it." If your parents are telling you to mow the lawn for a week, and then you get your laptop, then yes, you would be getting spoiled. Assuming that you put in your share of work around the house that YOU live in, I think you're doing all right. Just don't let anything get to your head.

No you are not spoiled. Sounds like your friends want to make you feel bad about the gift from your parents. You want friends who will celebrate with you when something good happens not be jealous of you. You might need new friends!

This is not the right place to ask this, but you must be happy that you're getting a MacBook, even when it's used. MacBooks are really expensive, so it's not strange that you have to work for it.
