I have a r****d mother in i been in special ed all my life. This school year when school open back up i will not be in special ed no more so that's a good thing because my IEP teachers told me i do not belong in them classes no more i did not suppose to be in them classes in the first place. So when school opens up when i get in them regulary classes i may get left behind in get place back in special ed because i don't no the basic's of math but i can handle every thing else.

  1. If you do get behind in some subjects, there is RSP. That is for kids who can make it in regular class, but just need a little extra help from their Special Ed. teacher.  You must be 2 years behind to qualify. My advise to you is to read this Summer. Instead of sitting around at home, go and read at the library. It's cool there, too. Reading, even easy reading books, helps you understand how to write, how to understand a story, recognize words, and a lot more. You must help yourself so you can make it in life and this is a fun way to do it. Good luck.

  2. that depends what grade your going into

  3. No ur not stupid, u just do not trust ur self that much and u do not believe in ur self or that u can do it and even if u did not succeed there is always the real you and u need to trust ur self cuz there is a difference that only u can make.

  4. No, your not stupid and don't think of yourself that way. Just because you might need extra help in a few subjects doesn't mean that anything is wrong with you. You might have to work a little harder but that will pay off for you in the long run

  5. For asking such a question, i would call you stupid... but coming to reality, you are not stupid.. you just need extra attention, thats about it. i have been diagnosed with dyslexia a long time ago, and was considered stupid in my class, didnt really cared about it.

Anyway, you must know your true potential, i may not know exactly what you are going through.. so dont call yourself stupid.

  6. no ur not stupid. u may need help n ur classes, but the teachers will work with u, and maby give u extra time 2 complete asignments depending on what ur IEP says. if ur consurend about ur math class then the skool will most likly have some 1 who could go n2 the class to help u or send u 2 a resorce class 4 math if u need it. the same thing happend 2 my sister when she was n 9th grade, and she strugeld with math because she did not know a lot of the basics, but she got through most of it just fine when she would ask 4 help with her work. although she did say it was more harder then she expected bcuz the regular classer were more harder then she thought. just try ur best and u will b fine

  7. No, not stupid.  You might need extra help to catch up, but if you work hard you will be successful.

  8. Well, if your not faking this, then no your not stupid, hon. Just because you take special ed classes dosent mean ur stupid. Calling someone who is mentally handicap, retarded or stupid is just offensive. You should gain some respect for people that have mental disabilities.

  9. Funny how the TEACHERS say you don't need to be there, not be there in the first place, but then you are saying you don't know math.

So much for our tax dollars paying these people to TEACH.

Believe me, they wont' put you back in special ed, they will just let you fail.

I know you dont' want to be in special ed, and it's doing no good anyway, so I'm sorry I just dont' know what to tell you.

THere's no reason to go back to special ed if they are not helping you now.

  10. First of all, you are not stupid...you may however have a learning disability that makes it harder for you to learn at the same pace as the other students.  This is fairly typical and nothing to be ashamed of.

You might need to be in Special Ed. classes if you cannot complete the work in the regular classrooms.  But don't think of it as a bad thing, look at it as individualized teaching.
