I am a junior in college, 20 years old, working for a bachelor degree and I have a job that only pays like $10 an hour but for some reason I REALLY REALLY REALLY WANT A BABY!!! I have a boyfriend I have been with for only a year and I really wish I could get rid of this desire for a baby. What is wrong with me??

  1. Accept the fact that you want a baby, just talk yourself into waiting until you are done with college.....

  2. You're probably ovulating and turning clucky ^^

  3. yes, yes you are. i look at little brats all the time and think why the h**l would anyone want a kid. dont get me wrong kids are cute, but they are a handful times a million

  4. nothing is wrong with you it is natural for women to feel that way

and you might just want that connection and unconditional love that a baby can offer

  5. Could it be that you have a strong desire for the unconditional love that a child would offer? Do you feel unfulfilled in your life right now?

There is nothing "wrong" with you. But 20 is a bit young esp. when you're working on a bach. If you finish your degree, you'll be in a much better position to look after someone else.

       Good luck.:)

P.S. You're definitely NOT crazy. Just in a hurry.

  6. your fine it's just a motherly instinct, but you might want to wait until college is over. When you can maintain a reasonablee income for a child.

  7. It's normal, but at least you know you're not in the ideal situation to have a baby.  Why not get a little pet?  You can cuddle it but won't have to hire a baby sitter to go out when you want.  Plus it won't turn into a TEENAGER!  (I have two kids so I'm already bracing myself, that's why I mention it.)

  8. Nope, that is completely normal. It is an innate human desire for a young woman to want a baby. Our ancestors needed that desire, especially when they are young, so our species can survive.

For most of history, women popped out baby after baby. Women would only have a break when they were breastfeeding. It is only within the last century that more birth control methods were employed that allowed women to have less children.

Nowadays, society pressures women to have children only after they have a successful career and after they have at least a bachelors. The ironic thing is that by the time most women have spent time having a successful career, they are significantly less fertile and have to resort to fertility treatments.

I have baby fever as well. I want to find my dream guy, get married, and have a baby. But I know it will take forever to find a husband.. I am 21 and have one more year left before finishing my bachelors.

    You are not crazy!
