Do you think I did the right thing?

Question

A week ago, I started a job as a train conductor and there was this one very rude guy on the train. I just asked him for the money for the train fee and he said "get lost". I said to him that I need his train fee or will bhe will have to get off at the next stop. He then said "Blow me" and threw a handful of change in my face. It was right there and then I opened up a can of whoop-as# on him. I forced him up, kicked him in the gut and gave him a Stone Cold Stunner, I stomped a mudhole in him, nailed him with a bunch of rights while he was on the ground and forced him up for one one Stunner.

At the next stop, I threw his as# off the train. He didn't get in trouble because I taught him a lesson "Stold Cold Style". I didn't get in trouble because he physcially provoked me by throwing a handful of pennies, dimes, nickels, and quarters in my face.

I did the right thing, didn't I?

But, as a conductor, your actions are understandable.  After all, the only difference between a conductor and a puppy is, after six months, the puppy quits whining.  So, buck up, shut up and deal with it...

You are clearly a very dangerous, psychopathic, guy. You should not be in a position where you might have a confrontation with a member of the public. How long will it be before that temper of yours leads you to kill someone. Take an anger management course.

Well, that´s not selfdefense, this was excess. Why did´t you call the plice to get him out of the train? The attack with the coins was definitely minor, ande the insults, as bad as they are, don´t justify your physical reaction. Pushing him out of the stoped train, OK, but the rest....

I agree with Rebecca, if that were me, even if I was being a jerk, I would still sue the p**s out of the train company.  An employee just cant beat someone up for being a jerk.  

But, on the other hand, good job for teaching the jerk a lesson.

LOL. GOOD one! Well, it will depend on if the company thinks it "proper" to retaliate that way. If someone thru change at ME, I might have called the Bobbies on him first. But still, an assault is an assault. It would have to be judged whether he had some serious speed on that change to injure you. Yes, he was wrong, and a jerk, but it's a situational thing. I think you probably DID teach him a lesson, and you might hope that the company doesn't teach you one as well. Nothing wrong with self defense, really. Just not in every situation.

u went alittle overboard. i would have tossed him off the train for sure. sounds like u have some anger management problems. better resolve them so u don't end up in trouble.
