Do you think I have a good chance of becoming an actress?

I live near NYC, and I'm absolutely in love with acting. My parents are also supporting me. I wanted to know if you think I have a good chance of acheiveing my dream. ALSO IF YOU HAVE ANY ADVICE ON HOW TO BECOME AN ACTRESS PLEASE HELP!

You need to enroll in a good acting school and see what happens.  Only a very small number of people make it as an actress.  There should be a reputable school in NYC.

A story.

The graduating class of an American Ivy league school invited the great Winston Churchill to deliver a commencement address. Upon the MC's build up and introduction Mr. Churchill walk to the podium, waited for the crowd to quiet then said,"Never give up." He then sat down The crowd stunned waited for more.

The MC walks to the microphone and applaudes and says, :very nice but surely Mr. Churchill has more for us today."

Churchill gets up and walks to the podium and says, "never never give up." He again sat down.

The MC again and more stunned encourages the crowd call Mr. Churchill for more. They routine repeated several times until finally Mr. Churchill broke his repeated phrase.

Churchill gets up and stands at the microphone and says, "Never, never, never, Ever give up."

The stunned crowd stood and applauded the master of public speaking and the human condition.

In his actions they understood his message, the message of how to suceed in life or any pursuit.

Enroll in acting school and Audition for a play/movie that is being made and that won't be that hard since you live near NYC. And then if you are good at it you will have a pretty good chance. =D and by the way you are really pretty. ^_^ Good Luck

I don't understand this question. I mean, you're asking how to be an actress? Well, I assume you've been in plays and stuff so... CONGRATULATIONS! You're an actress.

There's a difference between Actress and Successful Actress. Let's assume Successful means you can pay the bills and feed the family on acting alone for a second. The chances of you actually becoming a Successful Actress are low, but it's completely possible. It's sort of like winning the lottery actually. It takes time, but if you have the determination and the skill, you can make it somewhere.

As for the actual question, yes you look pretty enough to be on film. That doesn't mean you'll make it, but still.
