A few months ago, I really wanted to go to an all girls private catholic high school. So my parents agreed and I went there.

I just started 9th grade there. I started two weeks ago. I hate it. I'm miserable there. I knew there was going to be catholic religion, but I did not know there was going to be some in every class! I'm not catholic. I went there because i didn't think that there would be THAT much catholic religion.

So i'm miserable here. I keep crying. I want to go back to public. If i go to public we get most of our money there. I have all my friends there and at the private school i had none. I don't think it takes that long to make friends! Everyone at the catholic school already has their groups of friends..

So i decided to go back to public. My mom is happy i'm going back, but my dad isn't that happy. But do you think I made the right decision. My parents told me i had to decide now, because i would be too far behind if i decided to go back to public in a few months. so i have to decide now. so do you think its better that im going back to public?

  1. you deff. made the right decision going back to public school.

being somewhere where you were miserable wouldnt exactly motivate you to do better, esp. since its highschool you want to be somewhere where youre comfortable, not miserable

  2. yes you did the right thing. those catholics are so religious all the time huh?

  3. i think you made the right desision. if thats what you truly feel, then your right on the dot. however, whink of these questions before you choose for sure..

Why did you want to go to an all girls catholic school?

What happened there that made you decide to go back?

will you be upset going back to public school, (feel ashamed)?

    What will you be missing?

    What will you be gaining?

make a short list of pros and cons. but im pretty sure you already know the answer. good luck!

  4. i say you decide for whats the best for you if public school makes you happier then go ahead, you are the one who's going to go to the school not your dad or your mom they should support you on this decision

  5. yah u made the right decision. u was unhappy where u was and no friend I think that good u going back and u get to see your friend again.

  6. Yes, I think you made the right decision. Good luck!

  7. Go back to public school; that is where you are happy. You don't sound like you feel at home in catholic school, not being catholic in the first place and not being interested enough in Catholicism to compensate for that, plus not having friends.

Why did you want to go there in the first place? What made you leave public school? Is that why your dad isn't happy? He should want you to be happy, but I'd understand if her were upset because you were miserable at public school, too (or if the switch to catholic school were way expensive) or if he was very catholic. Talk to him about it and explain your decision to go back to public school. :)
