Do you think I need a reservation if I want to stay in a Paris Hostel?

I am traveling to Paris 12-14 2009. I want to stay in a cheap hostel....do you think I need reservations or just show up?

  1. Since you can make reservations over the internet it would be foolish to not to do so.


  2. travelling in December should not be an issue.  If summer yes a problem.  Worst case you can go to the Latin quarter and find a cheap room.

  3. Well, to be on the safe side, I would make reservations over the internet, just in case there are no rooms left and you're left stranded in Paris with no where to sleep!

    There may be cancellations though, so you could stay longer if you wished. I would make reservations to be safe, and then try and find somewhere with a vacancy if you wish to stay longer .

    Usually there would be vacancies in February, as there aren't many tourists here.
