I've played college tennis here in uni and I noticed that it has affected my grades lately (they're still good but not like before) Should I continue or stop?

  1. definitely continue playing, but cut down. since school should always come first.

  2. Unless you have a good chance at becoming a pro player, you should concentrate more on your studies instead of tennis.

I wouldn't cut it out completely but just enough that it won't effect your grades negatively.

Tennis is a great sport and if you enjoy it, you'll be able to play for the rest of your life.

Your University studies will plot out your future. You'll need those grades to help you move forward and into your career.

  3. CONTINUE!!!!!!!

    TENNIS!!!!!! s***w SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!

    ahahhaha jkjk

BUT!  playing tennis WILL help  you in the future....

you will get in good shape and help kill off calories you ate and its just generaly fun...

  4. Playing an hour or two a day is not going to cut into your study time that much. I'd leave the tennis in my schedule, but drop TV time.

I'm sure there are other things you're doing that you can cut out.  You have to exercise somehow, so might as well keep up with the tennis. When the game is over, tell your friends you have to shower, and then go shower and then study. Be strong, girlie!

  5. Balance is very important.   You may just be playing too much tennis.  Talk to your coach, and see if you can cut back a little on tennis.  You might even want to take a 1 or 2 week break to catch up on your studies.  Exercise is good for your health and energy levels.  If you cut tennis/exercise out completely, that might even hurt your studies.  Everything in moderation, even moderation... Good luck!

  6. Remember, balance tennis with study time, or make extra hours for study to compensate for tennis.

  7. You should definately continue but you shouldn't overplay yourself. What I mean is study first so your grades will be in order then practice Tennis so that way you can do both and your grades will be much higher like b4

  8. Keep playing if you like it, stop if you don't.  What do you value more, tennis or good grades?  I didn't really face this problem, but I realized after two years in Division 1 that my heart just wasn't into tennis so I decided to stop playing and focus on school instead of sports.  If you are playing tennis in college (especially for women) you are most likely not going to be a professional, so I think you should do everything you can to give yourself the most opportunities outside of tennis.  Whatever decision you make, good luck with it!!!

  9. Continue, but limit your tennis. I play at the maximum once a week on the weekend when I have finished my studies. Try different amounts of tennis every fortnight and compare how you cope with your studies, if you can, finish your studies before you play.

  10. i think you should continue you know why if tennis is your sport u need to play that.you need to divide your schedule your sport and your study,im a badminton player now im a trainor im a varsity too in volleyball,i can divide my sports and study.u try,,and you know.
