  1. Yes get a lawyer. Otherwise you will get stuck in the morass that is Immigration. Also when you go to get papers that you will need for immigration make sure to get 5 or 6 copies. For example you need a birth certificate. When you go to records to obtain this pay and get 5 while you are there. Immigration routinely loses paperwork and sends requests for more. Giving your lawyer multiple certified copies at once saves you and him lots of trouble in the long run,

  2. You may not need a lawyer but it always helps to have one. My advice is to consult an immigration attorney through the family legal plan at www.bestimmigrationlawyers.com. For only $16 per month you would get unlimited attorney consultations and documents review. Moreover, the plan would cover both of you. Then, if you are satisfied with the attorneys' service, you can hire them to represent you at a 25% discount from their attorney rate. I did consult with their legal firm in the state of Texas and could prepare my citizenship application just by using the consultations. I think you should take advantage of the consultations and decide for yourself if hiring a lawyer is what you really need. Good luck

  3. Well I think it will be better if u get a lawyer because they know what they doing & it will be easy for you...less fustrations :)

    good luck  with everything

  4. dONT LISTEN TO WHAT "LORD MANDO" OR ANY OTHER IDIOT THAT ARE SO INSECURE ABOUT THEIR RACE THAT THEY HAVE TO PUT DOWN OTHER RACES "LORD MANDO IS PROBABLY LIVIN AT HIS MAMAS HOUSE BECAUSE HE HAS NO FORMAL EDUCATION TO GET A REAL JOB,ANYWAY IF YOUR BOYFRIEND ENTERED ILLEGALLY GET A LAWYER HE WILL GO BACK TO MEXICO TO FINISH THE PROCESS BUT ONLY AFTER HE RECIEVES A DATE AT THE EMBASSY IN JUAREZ.IF HE HAS A CRIMINAL RECORD IT WILL BE ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE.

  5. Yes, I think you should because they can help you with some things that you may not read about and know about. If you don't hire an immigration laywer it could make the process longer, for example, if you file all of your forms and you wait 2 years for a response and THEN immigration tells you that you forgot to do something or fill out a slip of paper that was needed.. this could take up a lot of time.

  6. I think it would be a great idea for you to move to Mexico.  He will feel more comfortable in his homeland.   Its also cheap to live there.

  7. Depending on the status of your husband (he is here legally vs. illegally), you may want to get a lawyer.  Immigration law is complex and there are many ways to make fatal mistakes.  You should probably consult with an immigration lawyer who has helped clients with these kind of issues.
