Do you think I should get braces?

Question

I'm 12 and my teeth are fine except for a small overbite (very small un-noticable) and my one tooth is turned completely the wrong way. I don't want braces should I get them or no?

Are you prepared to suffer with a terrible smile for 2 years? Just to fix a barely noticeable overbite? Think about it. Oh by the way,  just because the dentist recommends you get it does NOT mean you should, OF COURSE the dentist would recommend it he/she wants your parents insurance money to cover $2000+ braces, DUH. Think about it dear.

I say if you're thinking about getting them--do it now while you're still young. Otherwise, if you don't care what your teeth look like then don't worry about it.  I know lots of people who've never had to get braces and I'm so jealous of them.  It makes them unique imo.

if your dentist has recommended it then yes! I had braces as a teenager and am so glad I did even tho it seems so awful at the time.

I believe this would be a parent decision, they will decide for u.

My  advise    ............... if you have a problem get your teeth fix while u or young.
