Do you think I should go outside at 9 pm and start reading quran in my backyard?

It's gonna be a little dark outside. I just wanna see if anything happens, like a jinn pops out.

I don't know what will happen...but my cousin from Canada visted us and when we went swimming(she did'nt swim), she said she saw a jinn swimming in the pool with us,she had pain in the ear. But i dare you to read Suratal-Jinn in your backyard at night for a month!!

Dunno. I did hear that some eerie stuff could occur if u recite Surah Al-Jinn for about a month each night.

A relative of mine did venture to try it out. I heard that he woke up the next day in the afternoon after he slept on the 28th night to discover himself lying on his bed in a public trash can! The next time he went to bed, some invisible being lifted it from both ends, and tossed him from side to side on the bed. After that, the man lost courage, and resigned from his undertaking.

Don't depend upon these stories, and get ur hopes up. Nothing might happen.

EDIT: By the way, what do u intend to do once the jinn pops out? r u going to run away, shreiking in terror, or resolutely demand a bag of gold? lol...

quran is a book of allah which gives and outline how to lead a socail life, peacefully and how to treat families, frineds, relatives, neighbours, and even enemies, but we have mistaken this book by considering it a magical book or a book to read with out understanding or to catch a jinn, it is all unwaranted, this may be considered as disrespecting the spirit of holy book, and may call the wrath of allah upon us,  or abusing its status.

i read the Quran from 1am sometimes to 4am and nothing happens..........but i noticed that Allah answered my prayers if i can say faster that time.......but i'm now weak i know but Allah say Yes to all my plea.......i read the Quran thru most nights then........you know what Jinns will be afraid of you....just feel nithing will happen.....and Allah will say Yessssss

No, if you wanna get in touch with the Jinn and that, it takes some hardcore Qu'ran reading and all kinds of stuff, in the forest (Jinns hang around trees) for 40days or summat. I know people who talk to Jinns to make them become Muslim, and then you get people who use them to do black magic and all that weird stuff. And Jinns don't just pop out, they're invisible to the human eye. They can only be seen when/if they take the form of a human being, a black snake or a black cat.
