Do you think I should play Yu-Gi-Oh again after a 7 month break?

Question

To my contacts: yes I used to play the game for about 4 years, but around December, ever since I began to like this girl, I have spent my time focusing on her, and well, nothing else lol.

Anyway, I still have all of my old cards, and I havent touched them in a very long time. I recently went onto bbtoystore.com by mere accident, but realizing that I stopped playing something I loved to play. Part of me wants to play again, the other part of me wants to stop forever. I am going to college soon, but should I play again anyway? I even have my deck together, but after going on the site, I have noticed that a lot has changed in the cards, for the better lol. I was even thinking of buliding my Volcanic deck again, with some new cards I saw today. Please, keep your opinions educated and kind. Thank you.

Well that all depends on you!  Do you think it could turn into an addiction?  Cause for me, if I had a significant other and was getting ready to go to college, and I really enjoyed this game I would probably stay away from it. That is unless of coarse you are good at giving everything the right amount of time needed. Good Luck and congrats on college.

Yugioh is a very basic and simple game, people that played it can still play it even with the new cards, if you have old cards you can trade them for a few new good cards, I for example stopped playing like 3 years ago, nothing not even MTG nor Yugioh nor DBZ, nothing, Girlfriend issues as well, and to be honest I dont miss the games, but if you want you can go and play, I do play from time to time, but with my prohibited Decks XD.

Anyways you will feel the enviorment is different from when you used to play it, thats what I feel and besides as I said, YuGiOh is a very easy game to play, just your brains and the GREAT cards you have, not like MTG which is more combo brain card and luck playing.

Good Luck on your decision, if you are still dating that girl... better spend your time with her XD I feel its better than wasting my time with my old pals boring myself to death while playing!

Why not? Look, I haven't been played this game for 1,5 years. Then when my friends ask me to play, I accept it. Now I'm addicted again with this game! If I could, why you couldn't? You still have your Deck. Play it!

Go for it. You should have something extra to do when you have some free time. I love playing Yu-Gi-Oh and i usaully dont touch my cards for a period of time. But its fun :). hope i helped :P

i would say play again ... jus dont waste too much of your time on it unless this girl you like likes it and wants to play it too ... i am in college (dont have a gf atm but still) ... its not really getting into the way of my studies ... just dont let it consume you =P ... but seriously ... if you enjoy it then you should play it ... if your worried you will s***w everything else up (studies and relationship) then dont

Since you're going to college soon I'd say that you should stop.  It'll be hard to find people to play with in college and there will be many more activities to occupy your mind such as girls, sports, social clubs, new friends, fast internet, etc.  

Keep the cards as a memory but keep them at home.

If you have to play, just get the video game version.  It's not shameful to play video games in college (except World of Warcraft).  But remember that education is first.

if you have fun doing it, then start playing, i myself am starting to play again after a few years of not playing, like 2-3 years. and all my cards are really old. my old school beat down is c**p compared so some of the swarms they got now, but i am still updating the beat down till i get my new booster boxes. probably gonna go six sam or glad beast.
