  1. finish school....get it done...get a grad degree if you can..when done, get a sleeping bag and knapsack and do Europe for the summer..

a reward for your hard work..

  2. no go on and get it done, if you take off you may not want to go back! I say get it done now and then take off :)

  3. no please dont. everyone i knew that did this never came back. and why would you need a break i mean you have winter and summer.  i went to college springsummerfallwinter so i could graduate on time and make money. you should do the same.

  4. No.  People get lazy if they're not in school for a while, it's hard to get back in the swing of it.

Plus, the student loan thing will kick in.  That's a beast.

  5. why take a break if there is no need to

  6. Are you transferring to a university?  I am assuming you are going to a community college for the associates?  (universities do not offer them)....if that's the case, you might have to take more than a semester off.  You need to apply for transfer, sooner the better.  Universities sometimes will not accept students mid-year, some will.  However, coureses tend to be offered in a certain sequence, part I in fall, II in winter semester....think about that.  If your course schedule will accomodate this, without adding yet another semester to your schedule, and the university will take transfer students in January, then take some time off.  Use the time productively....your transfer university will wonder why....work?  (college professor)

  7. Don't do it kid. Very few people return to school once they've had a taste of freedom inbetween. I was in the marine corps reserves all throughout college, and in 2003, I got pulled outta my third year in college and got deployed to Iraq. After I was deployed for 9 months, I had a chance to return, but I just never did. You stop caring after you forget what its like to be in school.

When you go to school, you have to do it all in one shot. It IS possible to return, but very few people actually do. trust me, please stay in school kid.

  8. if you need a break take it!  I personallty wold just want to get it out of the way
