Do you think I will be able to get a car at 16

Question

Ok I know 16 yr olds can buy cars but I want a 2006 used honda civic. So, how much do you think they can run up for? Does it have cup holders? I have a few stocks and Im gonna have my mother teach me how to drive and take classes. Do you think I'll be ready. This car is like something I really want!!

I always wanted a 99 lotus esprite but i ended up with a 94 accord cause my parents wouldnt pay for it. lol. Even if you did get a 06 civic used its still gonna cost around $14,000 depending on the model and options. Before you even ask your parents about that car u may want to get a job to support it, cause if your parents bought it for you and pay for everything you just end up looking like a spoiled kid. Oh and if you buy a civic get it in a manual cause autos are boring to drive and the civics are a type of car which is actully fun to drive in a manual

Anyone can buy a used car... As long as they aren't being sold from dealers. a good way to buy a car is to look on autotrader, eBay Motors, or craigslist. just because you want THAT particular car, doesn't mean you'll get it.

And Used cars go from different prices, depending on the condition or the car, the milage, but mostly it depends on the buyer/seller's negotiations.

Just some advice.

A new car and a new driver do not mix. For all intents and purposes, an 06 civic is a new car. Within the first few years of driving, you will likely have an accident. Would you want to get into said accident in a brand new car that you paid a lot for, or in an older car that is worth less, and wouldn't be as tragic if you wreck it.

Another piece of advice. Do not buy a car until you have learned to drive, and do it on a regular basis. My reason for saying this is you may get your 06 civic, and decide you hate driving it, for one reason or another. For example. My first car was a 1995 Volvo 850 which I bought before I got my permit. At first, I loved it, because it was mine. But then, when I realized I didn't enjoy driving it as much as say, my parents cars, I grew to hate it.
