I was in a chatroom and I was talking to girl who said she was 18 and I said I was 18 even though I am 16 we were swapping pictures and she asked me to send a nude picture to her and I did I'm only 16 and she is 15 and then she said she told the authorities and they copied my ip address and the FBI are coming to my house soon what do you think will happen honestly?

She lied.  The FBI isn't coming to your house.  She would be in trouble too, not just you.  She told she was 18, and if the cops were really involved, the would get a warrant for the emails and chat logs and see that she told you she was 18.  She would be breaking the law too by sending you pictures and misrepresenting her age.  Also, if the FBI were involed they would tell her to have NO contact with you.  She lied.

This happened to someone I know but when the police came his hard drive was destroyed and there was nothing they could do.

And that kid was smart because he refused to talk to the police he never admitted or denied anything he just said I want a lawyer. But in your case real FBI stings are not advertised to give you time to destroy the evidence, so I think it was a prank.

Can't believe you were that gullible. Sending nude photos of yourself over the internet is illegal if she didn't request it. She set you up and played with you. Don't think the feds are going to do anything.

I KNOW she is lying.  IF 'she' was working with the FBI, the FIRST you would know would be when they knocked on your door.  Also, sending photos to someone you BELIEVE is 18 is NOT a crime.  Your question doe not indicate 'she' knows you are under 18.  That is the only thing that makes what you did illegal.  Sending nude photos over the internet, especially to someone you don't know, is DUMB, but dumb is not illegal.
