Do you think I wrong to tell on her?

I work for summer youth in New York State and i really do not like my job.. Ok, my boss wasn't at the office and i had to be there at 10 am. I called the summer youth agency and told them my boss wasn't there and i have been waiting close to an hour..Also, my boss accused me of breaking her copy machine and I didn't.

Did you tell her that you didn't?

If you did and she didn't believe you, you might just have to let it go. Sometimes people get accused for something that they didn't do and sometimes you can't do anything about it. She'll find out someday that it wasn't really you or she'll feel bad for being too harsh.

If you really hate your job, I reccomend that you quit.

Dont think of it as telling on her, its reporting unresponsible duties as a your supervisor.

You should, this is how a new boss who can run the place take over, if not it will all get worse.

No one really likes a snitch and maybe your boss had a valid reason for being late or absent. But you were telling the truth which is the right thing to do... if you worked , you should get paid, simple as that. If you need help, get your parents or another adult relative involved. Next year do some job research. I'm sure you can find something you will enjoy. Good Luck.

No not if you did it for the right reasons....something other than revenge. But hey if you had to be there and you were there then she should have been

I don't think you were wrong at all to tell them that your boss wasn't there.  If you were waiting for close to an hour, your boss should've at least had the decency to call you to let you know she was running or coming in late.

You were not wrong to tell on her because it's her job to be there and you should tell someone that she is lying about you breaking her copy machine because if you don't they may make you pay for it.

WHETHER YOU DID IT FOR THE RIGHT REASONS OR NOT I DONT THINK THAT YOU WAS WRONG AT ALL CUZ I BET IF YOU WAS LATE SHE WOULD HAVE CALLED ON YOU SO I THINK THAT YOU DID WHAT YOU WAS SUPPOSED TO DO CUZ IF IT WAS THE OTHER WAY AROUND SHE WOULD HAVE DONE WHAT SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO. SHE COULD HAVE AT LEAST CALLED YOU TO LET YOU KNOW THAT SHE WOULD BE RUNNING LATE, d**n SHE SUCKS! SHE SEEMS LIKE A MEAN AND NASTY PERSON....AS FAR AS THE COPY MACHINE GOES IF SHE SAID THAT AFTER SHE FOUND OUT YOU CALLED ON HER SHE COULD HAVE DONE THAT OUT OF SPITE.
