  1. Yes very true atmosphear in international matches will be

    friendly.

  2. normally.

  3. It's  nice to see their  camaraderie

It won't affect international matches as playing for the nation is the highest honor for any player.

  4. No not really..Yeah it is great to see MOST players getting along with each other, but it is all for the love of MONEY....

Do you honestly think that Sharma,Bharji,Symonds and Hayden could all get along and be nice to each other?...

I dont think it will be any different next time the Aussies and Indians take each other on in a "real' match,Bharji will be his usual stuck up self....

  5. cricketers get to know others teammates weaknesses and strengths so while playing against each other during internationals it will be difficult

  6. na!!!!!!!!!!! they'll become normal in the internatioal matches again

  7. not at all, since they are getting huge amount within the shortest period.  friendly environment ?? Harbhajan and Sreesanth.  But one advantage is that each country can learn others playing tricks.

  8. "We are all friendly now as we are playing for the same team, but its always different when u play for ur own nation!", This is what Ishant Sharma said!

If u ask me, i think there willn't be any more controversies between Aussies and Indians! Both the sides are beginning to understand each other!

  9. Except from Australia YES.

  10. It's a matter of convenience. The lucrative contracts have brought them together to play some tamasha cricket with a very serious eye on doing the best for oneself , professionally & financially. There will be some bonds made and some bonds broken (such as rivals in the Indian team). International country with country matches will always get the maximum priority and it will not affect those matches.

  11. I think IPL cricket match is a waste. How can Harbhajan beat Sreesanth. After that I lost my interest.

  12. yes dude

  13. Yuuppp...I guess it has made a friendly environment among all cricketing....but i guess...the slapping controversy doesnt look lyk a gud sign!!:(

apart from tht i guess it's really doing gud...and the best example is lee and sreesanth's frndship...i guess he never got along with the aussies well....but now they r quite close friends!!:)

  14. That is hearty.& YES I think the same.It is nice to see that. That should have some effect on the international matches.

  15. At the outside it looks to have the friendly atmosphere among

players and there is no doubt about it. All players flock and have

a good atmosphere among - except for few jerks like Bhajji and

Sreesanth who will never ever learn what friendship is about.

The sledging is still there and one could see even from

yesterday's game between Kallis and Gambhir. When hot

heads get on opposite sides - that causes problems and it is

important for officials to recognize this and correct it right

away rather than waiting for a slapping match to happen.

Proactive actions always prevail rather than be reactive.

  16. It wont change real cricket, but it may mean non-Indian players will be far more comfortable playing on Indian pitches....English county cricket has been full of foreign players for over 30 years, and England now always struggle at home against teams with players who are comfortable in English conditions..

  17. It did and does. L0L

Some scenes were so hilarious. Like Ponting advising Ishant and later patting him!

    Yuvi and brett Lee hugging!

    Chris Gayle learning Bazigar dialogues.

Hayden making dosas. And other dishes.

Wonder what all went on in their off hours. And all the secrets that leaked out.

And best was SRK 's Hospitality and gifts he generously gives.

It won't affect international matches. Except perhaps Ishant has learnt certain Aussie tricks and such.  These people are professionals. When they play for their own country, it will all be very different.

I am sure it was a good respite for them too. A good Holiday for them in the heat. Along with the extra income coming in.

    Interesting Q.

  18. on the contrary...it has made SriShanth and Bhajji enemies of each other.

  19. Yes, IPL has finally suceeded in creating a friendly atmosphere among the international playes, after a lot of controversies and professional rivalries, especially among the Indian and the Australian players at the last series. Now, it seems really hard to imagine that the very same players were abusing and taunting each other just a few months back. Everybody seems to have forgotten everything and they are behaving perfectly, and just like true sportsmen should intearct with his teammates.

But at the same time, I don't think that the present situation would continue even in international matches. IPL is a friendly and domestic kind of a tournament. All the cricketers know that and it's unlikely that the influence of the IPL would be continued at the intrnational level. Infact, the players are likely to be back to their normal selves again in the international matches, where professional rivalry would once again start dominating over friendship.

  20. Yes

  21. no/

  22. It will effect international matches because players from all around the globe are playing in it. Like India - Sree, Dravid and heaps more. And Aus - Ponting, Gilly. All nations are included in this so this will make it more enjoyable.

  23. Yes it will affect the international matches greatly. You should players in The Kolkata Knight riders. Whenever a wicket of the opposition falls they celebrate like they celebrate in their home team. Most amazing is how Ponting hugs Ishant Sharma when the later takes a wicket. I haven't seen this in any other IPL team. But it is just a matter of days berfore they play like a true team.

Once every IPL Team starts playing like a true team we will see much less sledging on the field. Much less Hayden Harbhajan issues.

As players will share a common dressing room they will exchange light hearted moments, so they won't fight much in international levels.

If IPL becomes succsesful we will see a significant reduction in sledging. I can bet on it.

    EDIT:-

I disagree with many of the above answerers. Because they say that it won't affect international matches. Wait and see. It happened in Football. Cricket won't be any different.
