No - the Indian government priority lies in the development of increasing its weapon arsenal, rocket science instead of developing the infrastructure throughout India. Million of people are beggars in the city of Delhi alone. Millions of people live below the poverty line. Not to mention sanitation and irrigation.

The banking system is Jurassic and inefficient.

Child slave labour producing jeans and substandard merchandise in sweat shops.

Instead the Indian government is more interested in its own welfare feeding the corrupt state officials coffers.

That is why India will never reach the economic development of Japan.

Japan has invested in its infrastructure, banking and economic development of its nations. The corporate environment is such, that they provide education, housing and welfare for their employees in addition to a good salary. Large corporates purchase goods and services from smaller suppliers and businesses. It is a well organised and coordinated culture, which recognised early the value of infrastructure and quality control in manufacturing . In addition Japan is now one of the leading research and development cultures in the world.

No. Japan has had over 100 years to develop, and India has a long way to go in terms of getting the same opportunities and infrastructure that Japan has for its citizens.

its not possible in a lifetime... definitely indis is progressing in many areas... but the dragging factors like Bihar, naxals, other terrorists etc always affect not only economy the other growing factors also. so better to change and try to develop the internal facts.... ofcourse its not possible coz the leaders like XXXXXX wont allow that...... dont ever dream about the better conditions here ..

I'm trying not to be offensive. Some countries are recognized as economy leaders, but also as unfair, so Japanese people are recognized as hard workers. and India is recognized as friendly, calm, spiritual and with beautiful nature. i don't think you should worry about economy.
