In the long term, Yes. Brandon Rush is a good player and Jarret Jack is a dependable back up point guard but getting Bayless, Portland gets a player with unlimited potential and can even be a great player. I know the summer league is not yet a good gauge to see if an NBA players will do go when the season starts. But have you seen Bayless play in the summer league, he is pretty amazing.
