Do you think International players have learnt anything from the IPL?

Many players said it would be a great learning curve to work with some of the best...etc.

Do you think players have improved through the IPl or gained anything?

yes the returns are greater in IPL moneywise than playing for one's country-look at the timing of retirement from the game of...Pollock, Fleming,Gilchrist andJayasurya and it tells its own story-all for just 45 days in the sun or under floodlights with the cheerleaders and film stars thrown in for free.

The younger ones may have, as regards playing on different pitches etc.

INTERNATIONAL PLAYERS SPECIALLY NEW COMERS WILL LEARN A LOT FROM PARTICIPATING IN IPL.PLAYING WITH OR AGAINST  INDIANS SUPERSTARS IN A DIFFERENT  ENVIREMENT SPECIALLY IN JAM PACKET STADIUMS AND CLASS BOWLERS WILL MAKE THEM LEARN ALOT AND WILL HELP DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS AND CONFIDENCE AND THEY WILL ALSO LEARN  HOW TO EARN BIG MONEY.

MJ is right, it wouldn't have benifitted the senior players all that much(apart from moneywise) but up & coming players would have gained a lot of experience.

I think it's improved relations between players.   It's good to see two players from different countries celebrate a dismissal or a win.

If only it did the same for the fans...

I think, Australian players are the most benefittedin the form of Shaun Marsh, Luke Pomersbach, David Hussey and Cameron White. Because they are pitted as the next Australian generation. They should have definitely got the feel of the sub-continent pitches and it will definitely help them in future international matches in the sub-continent.

I dont think the other international players would have learnt so much with this IPL.

Also, the local players are also getting nice exposure here. So many local talents are spotted like Gony, Badri, Diwan, Saha and so many.Now we can say we have some pool of players. So, Indian cricket also getting benefitted.
