Question:

Do you think Isis has a right to be in AMNTM?

I don't have a problem with Isis. My problem is that AMNTM is a modeling competition for women and not men. Isis may feel like a woman "inside" and she may eventually get that surgery to look more like a woman but she will always be a man. I wouldn't have anything against Isis modeling women's clothing. That's fine and that's up to the designers if they want to hire her or not. I just don't think she belongs in this competition. I consider myself very liberal and I openly support g*y marriages, g**s adopting, people wanting to change their gender but this contest isn't about this, you know what I mean?

  1. since when is ANTM is just a girl competion? they never siad nething?

  2. No, it's not fair.  They should have a different show that focuses on tranny models.  I think that it is not fair to the other models.  I know they will keep Isis until close to the end for ratings though.

  3. Like other people have already said, it's America's Next Top Model. Not America's Next Top Born Female Model. And it's Tyra's show and competition. Tyra makes the rules and she can choose whoever she wants.

  4. It's ANTM. America's Next Top Model. What's this 'M' you've thrown in?

My answer is: I don't care. If you're i favour of those bigger g*y rights issues than why do you have a problem with this small one? It's just another reality show. They just want the publicity.

  5. I am watching it now, and have only been watching for 5 seasons. I believe people when they say they truly have always felt like the opposite s*x. I thought the title was "America's Next Top Model" and not "America's Top Female Born Model." I think she does. I didn't know she had been on a former season. You have to admire her positivity. I do not think she's the prettiest girl, but she won't be let go soon. Tyra puts people in the competition that will stir up controversy. If you noticed, there are no "plus-sized" girls in this one, that was done last season. And the girl that could have been Whitney's twin was rejected in the last cut.

  6. I think she has every right to be on the show.

The only thing is she still has "the male parts" because she can't afford the operation, but other than that she looks just like a girl.

She says she has always thought of herself as a girl.

If she was looking all butch, big hands and feet, hair cut real real short, lump in the throat and had a 5 o'clock shadow then I would say "no way".

  7. I think the show is just trying to get ratings...

They have already had every kind of female personality ... L*****n / shy / aggressive / rocker / spiritual / plus size / twins / mental slowness / language barrier / female genital mutilation ... so, it's only the next step in the progressively escalating quest for ratings to get a transgender person.

I really wish Tyra would just admit that they are trying to get ratings and trying to do something different instead of trying to sound so ethical like the idea never crossed her mind.  Tyra is a good business woman who knows how to be successful...
