Do you think Jason Giambi will give young Gardner some pointers?

It's expected he will, not really teaching him everything but the easy pointers, and a few tips.

I think there is no question that Giamboid could give Gardner some well thought pointers before each game. Will young Gardner pick up the tips or refuse to take them  though ,that is the question. I guess its a shot in the dark at this point but what really could it hurt?

I think he should because as a veteran on the team he has to be a leader, but Giambi is more of a power hitter and Gardner has more speed so he should turn to Jeter for pointers because Jeter is not the power hitter but, I guy who gets on and helps the team win, Gardner should be a guy that would hit the ball into the outfield, get on base and steal on the following pitch. Gardner shouldn't be turning to Giambi because you want Gardner on base.

Pointers?  You mean like sharp needle points, such as a syringe?  Possibly, but hopefully he'll reject that sort of help.
