  1. I seriously doubt at this point the Yanks can make the playoffs. The RedSox or twins or WhiteSox/Tampa Bay(wildcard?) would all have to go on major losing streaks. It can happen but doubtful.

    As per Joba, he looks more aggressive as the 8th inning guy. 2009 They are going to need him for that role. Starting pitching can be:

    Wang

    Mussina

    And three others they must buy.

    Trade block should be: Kennedy-Hughes. I don't think these guys can play in NY.

  5. neither. I don't think they will make it to the playoffs. They have way to much competition in the Wild Card. But in the off chance by some miracle they do make it to the playoffs I think they should keep him in the bullpen. You don't want to take a chance with him getting seriously injured.

  9. No offense to anyone who likes the Yankees........

    I don't think they will make the playoffs. Anything is possilbe, and they are in no way eliminated for sure, but they have to start winning now. It'll be fun to watch them in September. Maybe they will win most of their games and sneak in. I wouldn't put it past them, but as of now my guess would be they aren't going to make it.

    As far as him being in the pen, I have no idea. Sports Center said that he will start next season in the pen, but I don't know how valid this is.

    He will be watching from home.
