  1. Huh? He was happy as a pig in mud with her speech.

  2. McCain is all about winning the election. Whether they hurt some innocent people along the way, that's ok!

  3. i think he's jealous because he can't give a good speech.

  4. She did her job.  The vice presidential candidate historically has done the dirty work.  He does not even need to mention Obama tonight if he doesn't want to.  He can talk about why he should be President, not why Obama should not be.

Palin's speech was fairly harsh, but if Obama can't take the heat, he should get out of the kitchen.

  5. horrific

  6. Very please.  She can be the attack dog and keep that going while at the same time McCain can be the good guy since primarily we are electing the president moreso than the VP so it's more important that McCain look good.

  7. I saw i speech and he looked kind of embarrassed to me.

  8. He still hasn't explained what he defines as victory in Iraq and how long we stay.

  9. it was terrible

  10. i think after that speech he knew he picked the right person to be his vp...and i totally agree....made them look like they werent going to take anymore **** off obama and crew and i guess if wont lay down and take it you look bad?

  11. My thoughts are certainly not your thoughts at all!  He was pleased and has said so enthusiastically!  And she did a marvelous job in her speech!   Do you smear because of your fear?

I agree.  I've always liked John McCain, but I think his decision to appease the right wing by choosing Palin as VP is a bad move.

  13. Yeah, that's why he had to PRAISE Obama tonight before starting.

    Pathetic.

  14. lol anything that is against obama is "disrespectful" but if obama or biden says anything bad about mccain or palin it's A-OK. Right? After all they're the bad guys..right?

just like those feminists. Its okay for women to be politicians..as long as they are democrats right? I loved the speech and i think you'd have to be a fool to think it wasn't anything but great whether you agree or disagree with what was said. And a speech of that caliber can only do one thing..and that is make the people surrounding that speech look good.

  15. Responding to attacks is disrespectful? To who? The terrorists? No. He saw the speech ahead of time I am sure and probably added a shot or two against her inexperienced opponent.

  16. Pleased because it was a home run.

  17. Why because she is a smart and intelligent woman.  Get off of it already.  Jealousy will get you no where

  18. He was quite pleased by the disrespectful speech.

After all, that's what the Republicans thrive on.

And after all, Matthew Scully, Bush's speech writer, wrote the speech.

That's why it sounded so petty and divisive.

  19. Even the democrat strategist said the speech was brilliant.

It made me not just want to vote for McCain but go out and campaign for him.

Which is what I started doing today.

  20. I really couldn't tell.  But one thing's for sure....did you like how he came out afterward and tried to sell her like a used car without an engine?  Her speech was full of lies, which simply reduced it to a cheer-leading session.  It was fact-checked in some articles this morning by the associated press and failed miserably.  But since he knew about her speech before-hand, it was all about delivery.  So I assume he was at least pleased with that.  I have to give her credit there, she did appease the base.

  21. Obama's party AND supporters make him look bad all the time! I thought her speech was great and I don't think he was embarrassed in the least : )

  22. Yep. Those are the voters McCain is going for.

  23. Get ready to lose.
