  1. Probably just acted on instinct.I'd say it was brave of him as the guy might have been wearing a suicide belt.

  2. Yes - what's the difference?

Come the hour come the man!

  3. He's neither really.  He's just an ordinary decent Scot who saw a cop getting attacked and jumped  in to help.  He probably didn't even stop to think of the danger.

He's never claimed to be a hero, he's always talked about the other people who also helped and he can't understand why he was singled out.

  4. Neither. I think he did what a lot of people would have done if they were in that situation.

  5. Him and the others who helped were all heroes.

  6. He's hardly a thug now is he! It's typical of the British to 'stick the boot in' to someone who's actually done something commendable, whether it was instinct or not.

He's an ordinary guy and yeah ok it's dragging on a bit but let the man enjoy his five minutes of fame. The coppers were brave too but then it's their job to protect the public, it wasn't his.

He's a hero and it's a pity there aint more like him in Britain today!

  7. He's a hero. He stood up to a terrorist.

  8. I think he did what came natural.

He's not a thug for doing it.

  9. What he did was very commendable but i think he is overdoing the "hero" bit, lets not forget there was three policemen their too who had to deal with a very dangerous situation and nobody gives them a mention
