  1. No ,quite sad to see whats happened to Jonny.I thought he would have played for England for years.Great tackler and fantastic kicker. And thats from a Scotsman.

  2. Nope.

He has not played for England since the World Cup when he sustained his injury. He has hardly played any matches actually. To be out of top flight rugby for so long it very detrimental and one loses ones touch.

Even though he is a great player I do not think he will make it back to the England team.

  3. No, he has had to many injuries and not been playing enough games since world cup also he is -like us all - not getting any younger.

  4. No i think england have had the best of Johnny but he will still be world class

  5. Never in a million years. he just keeps getting injured and he'll never be like he used to.

  6. Nah, he is an oldie now and seems to be lacking with that talent and flare he did! And besides, he will be predictable now and the teams will know what he is going to do. He started off as a youngster full of adrenalin and dreams, once you've done a WC you probably don't have as much excitement or enthusiasm, just feeling really pressured!

    Peace

    -GO WALLABIES!

  7. I love Johnny but i think he should have given up for after his 2nd comeback...as soon he's going to be remebered for his injurys rather than being one of the best number 10s in the world! I think his England career is over sob sob...

  8. He started his international career at 18 (wasn't he)...had his 8 years at the top, now he's paying the cost..

He should get out while he's young and try something else, instead of spending the next six years - crawling from injury to injury, behind weaker packs..

  9. its sad to say but i think his entire career is pretty much over not just for england.  interesting when you think the same has happened to owen in football.  is there to much presure on these players to play every game and never have a break.

  10. Not a chance - every dog has his day and JW has had his.

He's a spent force in world rugby, even if he did manage to stage a successful comeback,he will never be able to be referred to as the best fly-half in the world........that title belongs to Dan Carter now.

  11. I dont think he'll wear an England shirt again, sorry to say

  12. Johnny's been there, done it and has the world cup to prove it, but that's were it ends. Dan Carter will from now one be the most spoken about fly-half in world rugby.

  13. NO, Jonny was awesome in the world cup and he is always writing articles in Rugby World about his "Big Comeback" but it is never going to happen

  14. If (and it's a very big if!) he can ever recover from his string of injuries he will probably make the England team again. However, with his style of play the chances were that injury would lead to the end of his career rather than retirement. So in a nutshell....probably not a chance!
