Question:

Do you think Julio will strengthen to CAT 5 hurricane & obliterate Tucson, AZ?

I currently have Julio as a tropical storm running right up the middle of the Gulf of California. Those waters are nice and warm, and Julio's moving slow but steady. There's a guy in Tucson that's been blasphemous to the Trinity recently, so I was thinking of wiping Tucson off the map by turning Julio into a CAT 5 hurricane. Whadaya think? Should I do it?

  1. Hey!  My gramma's there, along with my inheritance.  If Cattie dances naked in the middle of the tropical storm, whilst thou change thy mind?

  2. It seems as if you want to wipe out united states off the map lol

  3. NO it's NOT

By the time it reaches Tucson it will be a remnant low and all it's going to do is enhance the chance of rainfall.

  4. I just sold my condo in Tuscon and bought a new one in New Orleans where it will be safe.

  5. The Gulf of California isn't really wide enough to allow a tropical storm to strengthen to a category 5.  Also, Tucson is far enough from the Gulf that I doubt that any storm would make it there as a hurricane. The same is not true for Yuma, however, which I believe certainly could be hit by a Category 1.

I don't know what this trinity stuff is you're talking about, but I can assure you it has nothing whatsoever to do with hurricanes.
