It seems like they'd get along really well.

Do you agree or disagree? Why or why not?

  1. obama rocks, i sure hope he wins over mccain.. everyone who likes him should vote for him on this page (and get a free gift card!!).

  2. I don't know about Marx,

Judging by this speech she is more like STALIN or HITLER:

"And Barack Obama will REQUIRE you to work.

He is going to DEMAND that you shed your cynicism. That you put down your division. That you come out of your isolation. That you move out of your comfort zones.......

Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual..................."

    Michelle Obama, February 3rd, 2008

Wouldn't you say it's sounds more like a DICTATOR than a COMMUNIST.

  3. I would say that she is more like Hitler, she hates her own country as she has stated and if this is the best country in the world that must mean she hates all the rest of the countries.  She will probably try to conquer the rest of the world and change it after she and Obama change this one.

  4. I don't think Karl Marx and Michelle Obama share a lot of views anymore than I think Adolf Hitler and Cindy McCain share a lot of views. I prefer to focus on the issues.

  5. Agree with what?  You haven't given us any examples, so how could anyone possibly agree or disagree with you?

  6. What do you know about Karl Marx first hand???

He was an economic philosopher who had a very good eye for economic realities, but none for the human mind. He's dead for 125 years now, and in his lifetime he didn't get a lot of attention, among other things because his style in German was atrociously long winded and complicated. That's also the reason why hardly anybody has ever read his works in the original, even though  they may call themselves "Marxists" or "Communists".

He was a well-meaning person, full of compassion for those worse off than him, though he was not a wealthy man himself.

If that's what you mean, (though I suspect not) there might be parallels.
