  1. No, he will play out this season with the Reds, and then the Mariners will sign him to a 3 year contract, where he will finish up, and get to 3000 hits and 700 hr's. and retire after the 2011 season at the age of 42

  2. Yes

  3. Marlins

  4. No, he'll be traded very soon...

  5. nope marlin or marniers

  6. No, he will finish in the American League as a DH.

  7. nope going to TB Rays

  8. I think he will be a Marlin or Mariner before he's done

  9. I doubt it cause he is probably going to Florida next season (thats what he said).

  10. no, he was asked that question earlier this year about that and he said he owed it to the seattle fans to retire as a mariner, so this leads me be believe he will go there. That said, it depends on the offers he gets. When he returned to seattle earlier this year, did you count the number of standing O's he got? something like three or four...amazing...i think the mariners, at least thats what he told me just last week when we had lunch...(<-- okay, this only happened in my dreams, lol).

  11. I think he says he wants to be a mariner when hes done even if its a one day contract.

  12. he will go  to  the   minorz

  13. The Reds might try to trade him before the deadline, however, it's unlikely anyone will take the deal, and it's just as unlikely he will sign off. The Reds have an option for next season, but they will definitely decline the option, making him a free agent. Unless he accepts a very low contract with them, he will be playing for someone else, unless of course he chooses to retire. Very unlikely that he will retire, so I imagine he will be with a new team next year.

  14. No, he really should be DH'ing  by now.  His defense isn't what it used to be.

I have mixed feelings about him signing with the Mariners (and I heart him, he's my favorite player ever) because I don't think it's in the Mariners' best interest to sign him if the Reds decline his option, which I think they will.

He may want to sign with the Marlins, but I don't see Florida going for that.

  15. Yes.
