I finished both books in three days. they were amazing. I really hope he's gonna make another book but I doubt he will. :(

  1. Well, usually authors go for a triligy, but he hasn't been too popular in his series, which sucks because they're great books. I personally liked Airborne better; it was deep and aventure-filled all at the same time.

No, I think he's stopping at Skybreaker.

  2. YES, he is releasing a 3rd novel for this series. Taken right off of his website:

    Coming soon... STARCLIMBER

Kenneth Oppel has just completed work on his latest novel, STARCLIMBER, a sequel to Airborn and Skybreaker. Matt Cruse and Kate de Vries go higher than ever when they take part in the very first expedition to outer space -- and the journey turns out to be even more thrilling, perilous, and deadly, than imagined. Starclimber will be published in Canada this September; in the United States in January 2009; and in the UK May 2009. (April 11, 2008)

Can't wait! Kenneth Oppel is a great Canadian author who has a thing for adventure! Did I tell you he's from BC as well, even more great!
