Do you think Kevin Harvick is overrated?

I think the amount of press he gets is about equal to what he does on the track.

yes but haven't heard his name in a while. he's an average driver, nothing special in my opinion.

I do not think Harvick is overrated. What he did in 2001, with all the pressure he was under, with all the expectations , is incredible. Not many people can perform that well under such scrutiny.

Also, he owns 2 successful truck teams, and a Nationwide team, and he is #9 in the points standings.

But, he does need a win soon. He has not won since the Daytona 500 last year. But I still do not think he is over rated

Nah...hes actually a tiny bit underrated...

People say Junior is overrated but really he's not, its actually Juniors fans who add HYPE...mainly cause there more "hardcore" about junior.  Junior is just popular, plus 2nd in the standings has to count for something.

If Kevin Harvick is overrated then Dale Jr is beyond overrated. It would be like so overrated that it's not imaginable how overrated he is. It would be so overrated that the overrated concept wouldn't work anymore and they'd have to think of a new word for it, "super cherished famous mythic racing god among us" (put together of course. d**n Yahoo! doesn't like big difficult words obviously). He would be so overrated that it would not be intereperetable by we lowly humans. We'll have to turn to Dale Jr to get his perspective of things up there.

Not in the slightest, Happy is under-rated he's won Daytona, Indy, the All-Star race and two Busch championships.

Well he has won the two biggest races, the brickyard 400 and the Daytona 500.  What other drivers have done that?

How can he be overrated when all anyone talkes about are freaking Jr and that Busch?  Hes a good and consistant driver so really no he holds his on.  (and Im not hating on Jr I like the guy a little myself, but everyone does give him to much hype)

Harvick overrated???   No.  I don't think he gets enough credit.  Harvick stepped into the most difficult situation that most people can never imagine.  He did his job and he did it well.  He continues to do his job and he continues to do it well.  He is a contender most of the time and it seems no one ever notices.  Harvick overrated?  Heck NO!

Kevin use to have a lot of fire in him but NASCAR took it out of him. They parked him for diving aggressive.

It puzzles me how some people can drive aggressive and get away with it and others NASCAR penalizes for it.

I don't think he's overrated. I think Kevin has just been targeted by NASCAR is all.

If you remember correct NASCAR parked him in the Cup series when the aggressive driving was actually during a Busch series race.

How could he be overrated?  Nobody is talking about him.  He hasnt won in over a year.  So no, I dont think he is overrated.  He is no doubt a good driver and he will win some more races.

Harvick is cool.  Remember last year when he was going to kick Montoya's butt and they both got out of their cars and began pushing each other.

No he is not overrated this year, in fact I have not heard that much being mentioned about him either come to think of it.
