Do you think Kyle Busch will win the 2008 Sprint Cup Championship?

I don't. I think when the chase starts, his dominance performances will start turning into wrecks, ill handling cars, and when he says "the car is a piece of ****" it really will be and stay one too with him finishing 40th instead of winning. I just see everything falling downhill for Kyle Busch in the very near future. His ego will ruin his chances for the title.

edit:  He is the front runner out of 12 other people, He will have a little bit better than 1 in 12 chance, maybe 1 in 8 or so.  Those are still not that great of odds.  Formerly known as Josephus, I will TAKE that bet.  $100 says that Kyle will not win the Sprint Cup Championship this year.

I think he will win his first championship this year. Remember that Kyle Busch also has the most top-10 finishes of anyone currently in the Chase. When it's your year, it's your year.

I don't think Kyle has as much ego as ppl think...And what he does have, he deserves...Face it, he's one of the best drivers on the track right now...when he's good, he's GOOD, and when he's bad, he's got attitude...Yes, he's reckless and so if the car/driving starts to go downhill then yea, he's gonna reck and ruin his chances...But if he stays in control, then hello championship...

i think he has a really good chance at winning especially the way they have the "bonus" points for wins set up in the chase, but the HMS cars get really tough then as well, especially if 3 of them are in the chase..

but i do think that Kyle Busch does have a really good chance at winning..

I have a feeling that all the bad taste he's left in everyone's mouth will catch up with him.  The guys he's screwed over already probably won't let him get by as easy once the Chase starts.  Especially the guys NOT in the Chase..might just be time for a little payback.

depends how the car is working... honestly what does a driver do besides drive? the car does what it is capable to do regardless of who's driving it... maybe i just don't get the nascar... with the million advertisements and the turning left and the waiting for some one to crash and possibly die...

i don't think so. i think carl edwards will. the tracks they go back to in the chase are all tracks that carl edwards runs good at. i don't think kyle can keep the momentum. he's just involved with too many other things.
