Do you think Liverpool might actually win the title this season?

All the signs are there.... Their playing like c**p and still grinding out wins. Just like Chelsea a few seasons ago and Man U at the start of last season.

Lets just hope they can actually win it this time instead of just playing like c**p and losing like they do most of the time.

liverpool cant win the league until they have a few wide players to open up their options. playing route one though the middle of the field is no good when its played all the time - it's too easy to defend against!

The only reason it works now is a combination of luck, strenght (mainly from gerard) and sheer class from torres. if they use the whole pitch they'll get more goals and maybe then might challenge.

I hate to say it but no we won't win the title.  There are too many problems on and off the pitch.  On the pitch we lack width and struggle to break down defences without wingers.  Alan Hansen talked about this on last night's Match of The Day.

Plus there are too many players just not playing well.  Keane isn't even getting close to scoring and I hope he gets that first goal pretty soon so he can start to feel more confident and comfortable.

They will need to improve drastically if they are to compete. There is a lot of potential in Torres-Keane but it has to improve. They were very, very lucky to win last night.

1st, Lets see if they improve than what they are now, they lack a little bit of that pace that chelsea has atm.

That would be great.  Pre-season the team was flying but have struggled so far against very average teams but a win is a win and I hope it continues

Yes they won when they were playing badly but it was clearly not due to resilience! Once their luck runs out and they get injuries to Gerrard and Torres (Arsenal have Cesc, Rosicky and Eduardo out, Man Utd have Ronaldo out, Chelsea have Drogba out) then they'll see what their team is really like.

No.they played incredibly against Middlesbrough with two late goals.I think they can challenge the title,but will not win it.Probably Chelsea will win it comfortably.
