Do you think Long Island should be the 51st State?

I heard and read about a growing sense of Long Island creating a new state of the U.S. Do you think it will succeed.

no but California should be split into 3 states, Southern California, Central California and Northern, they have too many people and too much influence

Gosh, I hope not.  I quite like being a New Yorker.  Besides, I doubt it will ever happen.

It is already part of a state.  The US Constitution clearly says that no current state can be subdivided into other states.

Read the Constitution...it is your duty as an American.
