Do you think Lord Hasting's revolt against King Richard III?

means that it was common knowledge at the time that the Princes in the tower were dead. He led a revolt against Richard in support of Henry Tudor. Wouldn't he have revolted in favor of the princes if he thought they were alive, or is it a sincere support of the Lancastrian cause?

  1. It could.  The princes had been declared illegitimate, and that may be the reason that they were not used to head an army against Richard.  It could have been their ages.  The Wars of the Roses had  a lot to do with property and you were on the side that promised you the most property.
