Do you think Lulu works as a nickname?

I've recently grown attached to the name Eloise for a girl, and I heard about someone who had a girl named Eloise as well and called her Lulu for short. Have you seen this done before? Do you think it works? What do you think of the name Eloise?

I personally think Eloise is old fashioned, but Lu Lu is cute. I knew a little girl named Leigha who was called that as her nickname. I think Lucy or Luciana are nice names, that Lu Lu can go with as well.

I really like Lulu as a nickname.  I think it is cute.  If you like Eloise (not a favorite, but it is perfectly fine) then that is all that matters.

I think Eloise is a very cute name! It's better to have an "old fashioned" name than something like Orange. She'd be like Eloise at the Plaza! I don't know about the nickname Lulu, I personally am not a fan of it but it does work. You could use Elle or Ellie too. Lulu just reminds me of this character in a book. I think you should name her Eloise though, it's cute!

I THINK LULU IS A VERY CUTE NICKNAME TO COVER UP AN OLD FASHIONED NAME THAT YOUR CHILD IS NOT GOING TO WANT TO BE CALLED WHEN SHE IS IN SCHOOL
