I kinda think he does. I mean... I know it's about winning now and it probably has alot to do with going to the superbowl, but to get to the superbowl you have to go through New England. I kinda hope New England picks up Pennington as Brady's back-up and releases Cassel and Guttierrez. That would be good in a few ways.. to zing Mangini a little and then we have a great back-up in Pennington who also used to play college ball with Moss at Marshall... works on a lot of levels.

  1. Not everything is about the Patriots. You can have Noodle arm Pennington.

  2. yea and the fans hyping the jets up too much no matter what brett or no brett its the same results and that is patriots blowing the jets out

  3. Completely agree with everything you said. The Globe actually mentioned them possibly picking up Pennington, which would be great considering the skid of cassel/gutierrez. He'll probably go to a team where he will start though. I don't think a Belichick Patriots team will ever lose a Mangini team. I honestly believe that Brett Favre will make the new Pats secondary look good in week 2, considering how many interceptions he throws, especially now that he has much worse players around him. Mangini is just filth.

  4. pennington will be wanting to start somewhere, and he will be wanting to win, so i don['t figure he'll be going to the pats or the dolphins, i would bet he'll go to the vikings

  5. The Patriots will not be intimidated by Favre, I think Pennington should go to the Vikings he would be a better fit for them then Favre.  Favre had a great year last season because he played within the system and Ryan Grant picked up his game.  However when Favre  faced Dallas he went back to his gunslinging ways and threw the ball up for grabs and had the Packers in a deep hole until Rodgers came in and got the team back into contention.   If the Jets let him play his style of ball interceptions will be up and touchdowns passes will be down.

  6. Deep down he probably does, but the first thing they have to do is get better, and thats, I think, has been accomplished.

Personally, I think the Jets will be 11-5.

    Pennington is going to Miami.

  7. No I don't think that at all.

  8. I think he did, he wasn't too happy with his QB's last season and it's all about beating the pats now isn't it? I didnt think about Pennington to NE though, that would work well I think.
