In my estimate Pac if he can beat JMM cements himself as an all time legend at 126 /130. Not just a Hall of famer but one of the best ever.

How would Pac do against

Sanchez?

Pep?

Nelson?

Arguello?

Saddler?

  1. Pacman is good but couldn't carry a water bucket for Pep or Saddler.----- Willie would have taught Manny how to Box & Sandy would have destroyed Manny who was custom-made for Saddler..

  2. He's already one of the all time greats.  The only thing lacking from him is a legit title belt.  He has beaten all the big name fighters in his division, including 2 sure hall of famers, in big money fights.  Yeah, he's been fighting for money.  Now is the time for him to snatch a legit world championship belt, defend it 3 or 4 times or win another at 135 and secure his place among legends you've mentioned.

  3. win alll but the last

  4. No! he has fought some great entertaining fights but he hasn't  fought guys in there prime. Barrera & Morales were in to many wars & didn't have anything left. A younger Morales did beat Manny but he was basically done when they met again. Same goes for Barrera. Marquez has a very good chance but I think a Linares or some of these younger guys would have a better chance.

Manny isn't a "great" fighter, his biggest asset is that he is a southpaw & is so awkward that he makes it hard for fighters to stay out of his range or get him in there range.

He is quick & strong but if he were a orthodox fighter how affective would he be? For this reason I don't believe he would be considered as a all time great. He is however very entertaining.

  5. 101% If you've seen the game 1, and you know how to play boxing... Pacquiao must be the winner, he knocked down Marquez 3 times in a row... But same as usual... Some judges are great cheaters! LOlz!

  6. As much as Pacquiao has accomplished and has been exciting over the last several years, I can't put him among the greats, yet..... even with a win over Marquez. Outside of Morales and Barrera, most would ask who else has he beaten? I could add Oscar Larios and Jorge Solis to the list, but afterwards the list stops there for me. I really like Pacquiao and he's exciting to the sport, but I just think he needs more big wins against a few more big threats in or around his division. Depending on what he does between now and perhaps three years from now, I may have a different thought.

  7. i agree, not yet.. on the sedcond question, yes he can beat all those past animals inside 11 rounds.

Not yet, coz he's not a champ anyway. Even if he beats marquez, it would be big but i think not that big though to put him on the level of those salvador sanchezes and the willie peps. But hey, he is more than capable of winning all belts in the 130. And if he moves 135, man, those lightweight champs are soft and old. So if you consider a unification of belts in 2 different divisions, ahmm... i think he can be...
